Driving Position Memory System (DPMS) for Keyless Remotes

If "MEMORY POSITION LINK" in the Multi Information Display (MID) is "ON," the driver's seat, steering wheel, and outside

mirrors will move to the positions stored in the memory when you open the driver's door using the remote transmitter.

Preset audio/radio channels and A/C settings are also linked to the keyless remote transmitters.

OFF DPMS is off/deactivated all the time

Instructions:

1 Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.

2 Position the driver's seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors to the Primary Driver's preferences.

3 Confirm that the Primary Driver will use Keyless Remote #1.

4 Store the Primary Driver's position preferences as "Position #1."

5 If a Secondary Driver is present, offer to store his or her preferences as "Position #2".

6 If a Secondary Driver is not present, advise client that you have set Keyless Remote #1 for Driver #1

and that the instructions to set the DPMS are in the Owner's Manual. Advise the client to

contact you if they cannot successfully set Keyless Remote #2 settings for Driver #2.

MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY (MID) Customization

Refer to the Owner's Manual Multi Information Display section for complete instructions.

2 Put the transmission in Park (P).

3 Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.

4 Press and hold the up ( ▲ ) or down ( ▼ ) button until

"Keyless Memory Settings" appears in the MID.

5 Press the SEL/RESET button to enter the "Keyless Memory Settings" mode.

6 Show the client how using the INFO buttons ( ▲ / ▼ ) on the steering wheel

is the same as using a scroll bar on a computer. Use the INFO buttons

( ▲ / ▼ ) to scroll through the settings until you find the setting you wish to change.

7 Show the client how pressing the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel

is the same as pressing "Enter" on a computer. When you find the setting

you want, press the SEL/RESET button to enter your choice into the system.

8 Show the client how to change one of the settings in the MID.

Then confirm that the client can change one of the settings while you watch.

Language Selection (In the METER SETUP Group)

Select the language used in the Multi-Information Display (MID).

Interior Light Dimming Time (In the LIGHTING SETUP Group)

Select how long the vehicle interior lights will remain on after closing the doors and tailgate.

Headlight Auto-Off Timer (In the LIGHTING SETUP Group)

Select how long the exterior lights will stay on after you close the driver's door.

Auto Door Lock (In the DOOR/WINDOW SETUP Group)

Select when the doors will automatically lock.

SHIFT FROM "P" Doors lock when shift lever is moved out of Park (P)

WITH VEHICLE SPEED DOORS LOCK WHEN VEHICLE SPEED REACHES 10 mph (approximately)

OFF Auto door lock function is off/deactivated all the time

Auto Door Unlock (In the DOOR/WINDOW SETUP Group)

Select when the doors will automatically unlock.

SHIFT TO "P" DRIVER'S DOO

R UNLOCKS WHEN SHIFT LEVER IS MOVED INTO PARK (P

)

SHIFT TO "P" ALL DOORS All doors unlock when shift lever is moved into PARK (P)

IGN OFF DRIVER'S DOOR Driver's door unlocks when ignition is turned to LOCK (0)

IGN OFF ALL DOORS All doors unlock when ignition is turned to LOCK (0)

OFF/DEACTIVATED Auto door unlock function is off/deactivated all the time

Key and Remote Unlock Mode (In the DOOR/WINDOW SETUP Group)

Select which doors will unlock when you press the remote transmitter "unlock" button once.

DRIVER'S DOOR ONLY DRIVER'S DOOR UNLOCKS

ALL DOORS All doors unlock

Keyless Lock Acknowledgment (In the DOOR/WINDOW SETUP Group)

The exterior lights will flash each time you press the LOCK or UNLOCK button.

A beep will also sound when you press the LOCK button twice.

ON / ENABLED OFF / Disabled

Windshield Wiper Action (In the WIPER SETUP Group)

Changes the wiper operation between two settings when the wiper switch is in the INT position.

INTERMITTENT The intermittent operation varies according to the selection

you make on the wiper lever's intermittent control ring

WITH VEHICLE SPEED THE INTERMITTENT OPERATION VARIES ACCORDING TO VEHICLE SPEED

Security Relock Timer (In the DOOR/WINDOW SETUP Group)

Select how long it takes for the doors to relock and the security system to set after you unlock but do not open the door.
